- Get your content into the system, and move on. Upload your media through the method that works best for you. Use our ingest wizard, XML posts, MIME SOAP attachments, or asset management system plug-ins.

Supported transcoding tools include Telestream FlipFactory 3.1 and 5.0, Microsoft Windows Media Encoder, and On2 FLIX Engine for Flash Video. Use the ASP transcoding service, or deploy our remote media processor behind your own firewall to work with your existing transcoding solution.
- Get the inclusive format support you need. Supported audio and video formats include Windows Media (.wmv and .wma), Macromedia Flash (SWF) and Flash Video (FLV), Apple QuickTime, MPEG-4, standard Microsoft Office formats (.pdf, .doc, .xls, .ppt, etc.), and an extensive list of image formats such as .jpg, .gif, .bmp, and .tiff.

Simplified media management
- Group file data for better control. A logical media object model groups all of the different media formats, bitrates, thumbnails, and associated metadata for each piece of content so it can be managed as a single entity.
- Categorize and customize. Use a powerful categorization tool to create category definitions and apply them to each media object. Create myriad data fields with a customizable metadata scheme.
- Preview and approve your content. You'll know exactly what your end users will see before they do. View content contextually, such as in a web page or broadband channel.
- Fine-tune access control. Create sub-accounts for different parts of your organization, each with its own unique settings, administrators, and permissions. Administrators can even have different permissions in different sub-accounts.
Publish anywhere
- Store and deliver using a server object model. Get off-the-shelf integration with leading Internet content distribution networks (CDNs) such as Akamai and Limelight. You can also register almost any other storage or delivery server in your account. mpsManage also supports the Cisco Content Delivery System(CDS) platform.
- Keep your media close by. Deploy the optional remote media processor within your own network for additional content control and security. Move, verify, encrypt, and transcode files entirely behind your firewall.
