Responsibilities
- Build Web 2.0 interfaces for digital media applications in collaboration with development teams.
- Provide technical leadership in effective componentization and automated testing of Web 2.0 technologies.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure business objectives are achieved in iterative software development cycles.
- Ensure a high level of communication among development team members
- Participate in all types of testing; conduct acceptance tests, stress tests and tune performance.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years experience in web application design and development.
- Experience with Web 2.0 technologies including Ajax, JavaScript, DHTML, JSON, XML, CSS, and Flash.
- Experience with at least one commonly used DHTML library (YUI, Dojo, Prototype, etc.).
- Experience working on user interfaces for large-scale, complex, multi-tiered web applications.
- Experience creating multimedia applications, integrating Quicktime, Windows Media, or Flash Video.
- An understanding of object-oriented principles as applied to user interface development.
- An intuitive sense for user interface design.
- Enthusiasm for Lean and Agile software development methodologies.
