thePlatform Tapped by NBC-Universal - News Corp. for a Key Online Video Partnership
By now, everyone in the industry is familiar with the joint venture between NBC Universal and News Corp that should change the broadband video landscape. Today, we announced that thePlatform will be providing media management and publishing services for this new venture.
"With a seven year history of managing online video on behalf of some of the most well known consumer brands, thePlatform has a proven record of success that should serve us well," said George Kliavkoff, Chief Digital Officer, NBC Universal and interim CEO of the NBCU/News Corp. joint venture. "Together, we will provide our partners with an efficient system for managing, syndicating and generating revenue from broadband video."
