So it’s important that content providers review the Twenty-first Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2009, which is working its way through the legislative process right now. The act, which amends the Communications Act of 1934, requires that some video content providers offer the capability to display closed captions and make encoded video description and emergency information audible.
