Silvia Lovato is the director of the PBS KIDS GO! Web site (http://pbskidsgo.org), PBS’s Web destination for elementary school kids, where she works with media producers in the creation of fun, interactive, educational content for children. Silvia started out in online news and has been a Web producer for over 12 years. She came to PBS in 2000, after completing an MA program in Communication, Culture and Technology at Georgetown University. Silvia is originally from Brazil and is interested in how public media ideas and educational resources can be shared across borders.
